Let's Talk: Help me I'm perplex!

I and Amanda have been head over heels for each ever since we met at the mall last year. I, a fresh tech graduate struggling to make ends meet while Amanda is a business tycoon's daughter. She had all she wants and so damn pretty. Why she agreed to date me still startles me. 

Despite her mother's continues obstinate disapproval, Amanda's mind is made up and the woman has nothing else to do but to respect her daughter's decision and keep hoping that she wakes up from infatuation. 

The day before yesterday, Mr's Cooker summoned me to her office. She was categorically clear that I should not tell her daughter about the proposed meeting and after proscastination and advice from my friends, I decided to be courageous and honour her invitation this morning. 

"Biodun! welcome have a seat." she told me and I quickly obliged her. 

"I know you love my daughter Amanda but socially, there's a sharp contrast between our family and yours. Please I'll pay you off to stay away from her." she began, 

"You can relocate and start up something for yourself. You are a fine young man. I believe you'll find true love somewhere else. My daughter will heartbroken but she'll be fine." she continued. 

"Ma'am honestly. I'm in love with your daughter and this love can't be bought or manufactured. I'll have to kindly decline your offer. You see I and Aman...."

"Young man! This is not a request," she cut in "It's an order. You either take it or leave it. Either way I'll make sure that my daughter don't end up with a rif-raf like you. I swear to make sure I do this even if it'll cost me my life" the woman threatened. 

"20 million naira or you walk away with nothing. I'm giving you 48 hours to think this through and give me a call. When you do this, I'll have the money transferred to you that moment" she said. "Don't play games on me because I've got eyes everywhere. Shut the door behind you" she said, pointing at the door. 

Omo! I've not been able to sleep since yesterday. Now I have 23 hours left to either accept the offer or continue hustling. 

If I accept this money, I'll implement some of my bright business ideas but if I don't, I go continue to suffer. I love Amanda die I swear. I'm perplex gosh...😭
